National History Day

National History Day is a wonderful program that encourages students to research an apsect of history.  It encourages communication, research, contextual understanding and academic competition.  NHD has regional, state and national levels of competition.  Students pick a topic within a theme, the project may be a paper, website, exhibit, or documentary.
