We appreciate everyone who came out for our Spring Curriculum Fair!! A special thank you to Diann Fortune for bringing us another wonderful Book Fair. I think the pinatas were a huge hit with our families! Our Curriculum Fair celebrated how we educate the whole child at Southern Pines Primary. We had many interactive learning activities in classrooms across campus. We hope you had as much fun as we did!! As a continuation of the interactive evening, we are asking for feedback from those who attended. We use a lot of sticky notes in our classrooms to help students increase reading comprehension. We would now like to use online sticky notes to gather your feedback on the Curriculum Fair. Please follow this link and answer the questions there. We will use this feedback to plan our Fall Curriculum Night for next year. Thank you!
Thank you to the parents who attended the Principal/Parent meeting on 2/20. For those parents who were unable to attend, I have uploaded the PowerPoint Presentation I used. If you are interested, please click on the link below that says: Principal/Parent meeting.
The feedback I received at the meeting will help tremendously with the planning of some upcoming events!
Please take some time to watch this animated youtube video produced by the NC Department of Instruction about the excellent work that is being accomplished in our NC schools. The link can be found below. We appreciate our parents and our community support as we work together to grow every child, every day!
Links below include various powerpoint presentations from throughout the year as well as links we think parents might find helpful. Additionally, Parent Handbooks are provided. If you prefer a paper copy, please request one in the office.
