TSA will hold a meeting for all national participants on Tuesday and Thursday until 4:00. 

The Ultimate Frisbee Tournament is this Thursday – May 23rd from 3-5 pm. Come cheer on you favorite team. Also survivor bracelets and Rita’s ices will be sold. Admission is $1 for students. 

Military Youth Club Thursday May 23rd is the last day of the club.

Orchestra news: There will be a meeting for parents of 7th grade orchestra students Monday, May 20th at 6:30 pm. All personally owned or rented instruments need to go home after school on Friday, May 24th. School borrowed instruments need to be returned, Tuesday, May 28. Summer rentals will be available after June 4th. 

June 1st is the 8th Grade Dance. Tickets are $10. For students to attend, all school and cafeteria fees need to be paid, and library books returned.  SMS is not accepting checks at this time so please plan accordingly.

Thank you all for the support during Teacher Appreciation week!

All of the individual treats were appreciated and are too many to mention.

We would like to highlight our PTA who supported us throughout the week with yummy food and treats ending with an ice cream social on Friday afternoon.  

Turning Point Worship Center's Pastor Stoney Locklear and Mrs. Alvita Thomas unveiled the newly decorated Teacher's Lounge on Friday morning. It is beautiful!
