May 6th-10th	Teacher Appreciation Week
May 7^th 5pm-7pm	Green Earth Night at D’lishi 15% of all sales will go to Pinecrest SEA club
May 18^th 9:00am-10:30am	HOSA will be hosting a Zumbathon at the PHS gym. Cost is $5 for students $10 for adults– proceeds will go to the Izzy Foundation please see Mrs. LaFell for a waiver form.
May 21^st 6:00 pm	NHS Ceremony at PHS Auditorium
May 28^th 9am	Senior Awards Ceremony at PHS Auditorium
June 24^th-27^th	Middle & High School Volleyball Youth Camp Registration forms are located in our office

PHS Students:

The last scheduled day for afterschool tutoring for this semester will be Wednesday-May 29th 2013.

The Points of Promise Program will host "Developing the Leader in you" enrichment activities Taking place on May 16th and May 23rd during the initial 45 minutes of 4^th period. Classes are also invited to attend these sessions. This opportunity is extended on a first come first serve basis.

SMSgt. Hardy will be conducting these sessions. Students who are interested will need to sign up with Mrs. Beavers for these exciting leadership development opportunities.

FOURTH ANNUAL ADAMS SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS ANNOUNCED

FOR NORTH CAROLINA HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION

CHAPEL HILL – Hayden Rudd of Pinecrest High School and Robbie Tomasic of Durham Jordan have been named winners of the fourth annual Charles Adams Endowed Scholarships awarded by the North Carolina High School Athletic Association.
